Last updated: 8 May 2026

This document is provided for general information only and does not constitute legal advice. If you need advice on your specific circumstances, you should consult a qualified legal professional in Hong Kong.

1. Agreement

By accessing or using this website operated by Hong Kong Arabic Language Institute Limited (the Institute, we, us), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the website.

Additional terms may apply when you register for a course, make a payment, or sign a separate agreement. If there is a conflict, the more specific terms apply to the relevant transaction.

2. Information and acceptable use

You agree to provide accurate information where you submit forms or enquiries and not to misuse the website (including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malware, scraping in a manner that impairs our systems, or using the site for unlawful purposes).

We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe there is a breach of these terms or a risk to security or other users.

3. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, content on this website (including text, graphics, logos, layout, and course descriptions) is owned by the Institute or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws applicable in Hong Kong.

You may view and print reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use related to considering or receiving our services. Any other reproduction, distribution, modification, or public display requires our prior written consent unless permitted by law.

4. Courses, payments and third parties

Information on this website about courses, schedules, venues, fees and promotions is provided for general information and may change. Availability, pricing and classroom locations are confirmed at registration or in separate communications where stated.

Payments may be processed by third party payment providers. Their terms and privacy notices may also apply. Links to third party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for third party content or practices.

5. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the website and its content are provided on an as is and as available basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except any warranty that cannot be excluded under Hong Kong law.

Nothing on this website constitutes professional, legal, financial, or educational advice tailored to your situation.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Hong Kong law (including the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance, Cap. 71 where it applies), the Institute and its directors, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or data arising from your use of the website.

Our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with these terms or the website (other than liability that cannot be limited under Hong Kong law) will be limited to Hong Kong dollars one thousand (HK$1,000) or the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is higher, except where a higher minimum liability is prescribed by law.

7. Governing law and disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China.

Subject to any mandatory forum rules under Hong Kong law, the courts of Hong Kong have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these terms or the website.

8. Changes and contact

We may amend these terms by posting an updated version on this page. Continued use after changes become effective may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.

For questions about these terms, contact us using the details in the website footer (including contact@arabic.hk).
